About the role

  • (Senior) People Business Partner at Moss, driving HR excellence and supporting leaders in a fast-growing environment. Key responsibilities include strategic partnership, managing people processes, and recruitment support.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary strategic sparring partner to senior leaders and managers across your orgs
  • Build manager capability over time through training, 1:1 sparring, and hands-on support during critical moments
  • Spot opportunities and risks early, cutting through noise and delivering pragmatic, high-quality solutions fast
  • Help leaders successfully embed change and culture initiatives within their teams
  • Be the absolute expert on your org, using data and a deep understanding of your teams and our business to keep the pulse on all things relevant to performance, progression, engagement, and retention
  • Own Moss’ core people cycles end-to-end within your org, including probation period check ins, biannual performance feedback cycles, and biannual review cycles
  • Lead engagement survey analysis, conduct stay interviews, and identify and drive initiatives key to retention
  • Deliver insights that inform headcount planning and overall talent acquisition strategies
  • Whenever needed, lead end-to-end hiring for priority and leadership roles in your orgs

Requirements

  • You have HRBP experience in a startup/scale-up environment of comparable size and complexity (100–500 FTEs)
  • You have a proven ability to coach and upskill managers, including senior leaders
  • You have hands-on experience running full-cycle recruitment for diverse roles, including leadership, and are willing to take on roles
  • You have a strong track record managing e.g., performance cycles, compensation reviews, engagement programs, and progression frameworks
  • You have a strong ability to balance strategic thinking with fast, hands-on execution in an ambiguous environment
  • You are extremely skilled at building trust with stakeholders of all levels of seniority, and adept at working seamlessly with multiple People subfunctions (TA, People Ops, People Programs)
  • Ideally, you've had exposure to multi-country EU labor law environments
  • Most importantly, you're ready to set the bar for what exceptional business partnering looks like at Moss!
