About the role

  • Marketing Automation Specialist managing CRM activities for Bring! Labs AG by planning and optimizing user journeys. Collaborating with Product, UX, and Design for excellent user experience in a growing software company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and scale automated user journeys (onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, winback) on our user engagement platform
  • Build and maintain multi-stage cross-channel campaigns (email, push, in-app, etc.), including A/B testing of subject lines, layouts, journeys, triggers and send times
  • Define clear audiences and triggers based on user behavior, segments and attributes, and evolve segmentation logic
  • Plan, execute and report on user engagement campaigns, including content creation
  • Use user events, value scores, attribution data and audiences for personalized communication
  • Interpret CRM and lifecycle metrics in collaboration with B2C Marketing and Product, and derive concrete optimization opportunities and actionable recommendations
  • Maintain the CRM infrastructure and collaborate with Data/Engineering on events, attributes and integrations, ensuring a structured setup across apps and markets (e.g. naming conventions, templates, etc.)

Requirements

  • You are a marketing enthusiast with user-centered thinking and the ability to translate needs into relevant messages.
  • You enjoy testing, learning and continuous optimization and are always looking for new ways to strengthen user engagement and retention.
  • You value a proactive working style and ownership of your journeys — and you also enjoy working in a team and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with data (e.g. Amplitude, GA4, Looker) are an advantage for this role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing or marketing automation
  • Very good knowledge of a modern CRM tool (e.g. Braze, Klaviyo, HubSpot, SFMC)
  • Creativity in designing campaigns & journeys
  • Strong skills and experience in creating compelling copy and attractive visuals (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English and strong project management skills
  • Experience in the app industry or e-commerce is a nice-to-have
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email templates is a plus
  • Ideally, knowledge of SQL or data modeling
