About the role

  • Account Executive enhancing the Canadian market for Genetec's security products, developing sales territories, and managing customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the assigned sales territory for the company’s products and work on initiatives to expand access to the Canadian market
  • Identify and track opportunities
  • Visit customers, partners, consultants and engineers on site
  • Demonstrate Genetec’s fully unified application
  • Manage forecasts and meet quotas
  • Work closely with verticalized account executives in your region to follow projects through to completion
  • Identify customer needs, respond to information requests and RFPs, prepare quotes and draft proposals
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between customers and sales representatives
  • Monitor and report on customer and consultant satisfaction levels
  • Coordinate training for customers and consultants
  • Update and maintain data in the CRM and other applications
  • Acquire, maintain and report an adequate knowledge of products, the market and competitors
  • Stay informed about products, applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activity, and advertising and promotion trends by reading relevant documentation and consulting marketing and technical teams

Requirements

  • More than 5 years’ experience in the security industry with VMS, access control and CCTV
  • Strong network and experience working with consultants, architects and engineers
  • Degree preferred in business, marketing, communications, engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience delivering demonstrations to customers
  • Proven sales results / track record
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Valid passport / driver’s license required
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken (this role requires interactions with our international colleagues and clients)
