About the role

  • Payroll Accountant managing monthly payroll and correspondence with clients across various sectors. Responsible for payroll systems setup and compliance support for clients in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly payroll and salary statements across various industries
  • Correspondence with clients, government offices, social insurance carriers and authorities
  • Management of reporting and certification processes
  • Provide technical support to clients during payroll tax and social security audits
  • Support and implementation of payroll accounting systems (e.g., Emplower)

Requirements

  • Qualification as a Bookkeeper (m/f/d), Tax Clerk (m/f/d) or equivalent, plus relevant professional experience in payroll accounting
  • Proficient in DATEV
  • Very good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Organized and a team player
  • Friendly, confident presence and strong communication skills
