About the role

  • HR Partner providing coaching and HR process expertise to leaders and colleagues. Supporting employee needs and leading small projects within the HR Partnership Model at GE HealthCare.

Responsibilities

  • A first point of contact for employees & managers who provides leadership, coaching and support for individual employee needs & HR processes
  • For use in businesses that are operating in the HR Partnership Model
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  • May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements
  • Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field
  • Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues
  • Works with some autonomy but are subject to functional practices and precedents or covered by well-defined policies or review of end results
  • Uses some judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years professional work in the Human Resources function with client-facing responsibilities including employee/people leader development and performance management
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite in the Waukesha office in a hybrid schedule
  • Experience working with Workday
  • Passionate employee advocate who wants to make a difference in the organization by helping People Leaders succeed
  • Experience working in an HR Shared Services Model
  • Strong customer service focus, with a high level of responsiveness
  • Works collaboratively; excels in a matrixed work environment, contributes constructively to team performance
  • Applies solid judgment ensuring integrity, compliance, and confidentiality
  • Strong interest in innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
  • Performs with a Lean mindset
  • Strong problem-solving skills: ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational & documentation skills
