About the role

  • Training Manager leading instructional delivery and instructional design for GDIT's federal partners. Managing a team and ensuring effective training programs for government support roles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of instructional designers and training coordinators
  • Develop and administer training schedule and materials
  • Identify training needs by working with program managers
  • Conduct organizational readiness assessments
  • Develop communication and training plans
  • Measure effectiveness of training and make improvements
  • Build relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Participate in cross-functional working groups to address challenges

Requirements

  • 9+ years of related experience
  • BA/BS degree (work experience will be considered in lieu of degree)
  • 5+ years of progressive training development experience
  • 2+ years leading a team of training/instructional delivery professionals
  • Expertise in process improvement, technology adoption, and stakeholder engagement strategies
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or higher security clearance level
  • Louisiana residency
