Responsibilities

  • Foster a work environment that promotes high morale and supports productivity
  • Maintain a regular physical presence in the office during business hours
  • Oversee the allocation of legal assistant workloads
  • Regularly collaborate with the office management team to assess employee morale and identify opportunities for workflow improvements
  • Engage with timekeepers to gather feedback and implement process improvements
  • Oversee the recruitment process for new team members
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs
  • Provide continuous coaching and mentorship to direct reports
  • Manage the office’s operational budget and monitor expenses
  • Review all vendor invoices for accuracy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five years of progressively responsible work experience with legal or other professional service organizations
  • Five years of direct supervision experience of managing business professionals
  • Previous experience in preparing and managing budgets
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to manage and work through conflict
  • Emotional Intelligence skills necessary to maintain effective relationships
