About the role

  • People Consultant in People Operations managing employee lifecycle processes. Delivering advisory support and driving projects for continuous improvement in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • owning key people processes: managing a range of employee lifecycle processes from end to end
  • delivering advisory and ER support: guiding managers and employees through policies and procedures, performance and absence management, and first-stage case resolution
  • driving projects and continuous improvement: owning small projects from start to finish, contributing to larger team initiatives, and using feedback to sharpen our processes
  • keeping on top of the day-to-day activities that keep the people function running, including: facilitating inductions, exit interviews, and surveys; managing internal communications, share schemes, and ad hoc reporting requests; supporting reward processes and wider team activities

Requirements

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification in Human Resource Management (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience advising managers on people issues or policies
  • Knowledge and experience administering various employee lifecycle processes
  • High level of computer literacy and ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Employee relations case management experience (bonus points)
  • Previous experience in a People Consultant position (bonus points)
  • CIPD level 7 qualification in Human Resource Management (bonus points)
