About the role

  • Business & Operations Supervisor at Ford Racing overseeing contracts and resources for high-performance racing programs. Collaborating with multiple departments in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the lifecycle of program agreements, managing the drafting, review, and approval process for contracts, amendments, Statements of Work (SOW), and NDAs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Ford Racing and internal stakeholders (Legal, OGC, Trademark Licensing, Internal Control) and external partners (Sanctioning Bodies, Race Series Organizations).
  • Ensure rigorous document retention and compliance with internal control requirements, conducting sample audits to ensure audit-readiness.
  • Manage the end-to-end purchasing process using SAP Ariba; author purchase requests, create requisitions, and drive approvals for timely execution.
  • Collaborate with Buyers and Accounts Payable to resolve invoicing issues, supplier interface challenges, and payment discrepancies.
  • Oversee program spending to support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, including accruals and budget reviews.
  • Manage the Program Team’s domestic and international vehicle fleet, including issuing bailments and handling logistics.
  • Coordinate insurance certificates and liability documentation for marketing events and trackside activation.
  • Support the Program Team’s cycle plan and resource allocation to ensure operational readiness.
  • Drive weekly status meetings to track progress, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure alignment between Chief Engineers, Business Owners, and Suppliers.
  • Act as a central problem-solver for the team, removing obstacles related to supply chain, systems, or administrative processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a Legal field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Program/Project Management, Product Development, or Planning/Strategy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with enterprise software systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, DocuSign, ELMS, GPIRS).
  • Familiarity with vehicle components and the product development lifecycle.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with Director-level management.
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs safely. Flexibility to travel globally and work a schedule that aligns with the racing calendar when necessary.
