About the role

  • Senior Manager leading Account Managers to drive B2B revenue growth at Floor & Decor. Overseeing commercial sales strategies and ensuring exceptional client relationships in the Chicago area.

Responsibilities

  • Translate regional sales strategy into actionable team plans that achieve revenue, margin, and growth objectives
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, pipeline health, and territory plans for the team
  • Identify opportunities for new business development and expansion within target markets
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers, fostering accountability, performance, and professional growth
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and ride-alongs to strengthen selling skills and client engagement
  • Drive a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee key client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction for major accounts
  • Partner with Account Managers to resolve escalated customer challenges
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and team KPIs, reporting results to the Regional Sales Director
  • Ensure compliance with pricing, contract, and operational policies to protect profitability
  • Collaborate with operations, installation, and product teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • 7–10+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in commercial building products, flooring, or related industries
  • 3–5+ years of leadership experience managing sales teams with 8+ direct reports
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving profitable growth
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to analyze sales reports and forecasts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
