About the role

  • Commercial Account Executive responsible for generating sales of cloud contact center software. Collaborating with prospects, managing sales pipelines, and achieving sales quotas in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Nurture and follow up on warm leads (no cold calls)
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline
  • Manage sales opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle
  • Identify, qualify, and close prospects; overcome objections through consultative approach
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales KPI’s (key performance indicators) and monthly quota
  • Track and manage opportunities in Salesforce.com CRM following standard Five9 internal sales process
  • Articulate company value proposition
  • Be the subject matter expert on all services and products offered by Five9
  • Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in direct sales - preferably in Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) or Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS)
  • Excellent sales and presentation skills via phone, email and web-conference
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales process and closing business over the phone
  • Ability to articulate complex technology concepts to a technical and non-technical audience
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Industry experience is a huge plus, but not required
  • Energetic, upbeat, tenacious, team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • College degree (BA/BS) is required.
