About the role
- Senior Analyst - Revenue at Fitch Group focusing on accurate revenue accounting and improvements in cash processes. Collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales, FP&A and Accounts Receivables (A/R) to provide contract structure, and evaluate potential revenue impact
- Ensure revenue is recorded accurately, complies with US GAAP and IFRS (ASC 606), and supports our commercial and financial objectives
- Identify and recommend improvements to streamline order-to-cash processes, reduce manual effort and increase accuracy
- Perform contract analysis, prepare revenue related journal entries and ensure proper cutoff during month-end close
Requirements
- Degree is Accounting or related field
- 2-3 years of revenue accounting experience
- Experience using SAP and Salesforce
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills
