About the role

  • Senior Director leading the Account Management team for Fitch Solutions across Greater China. Focused on sales strategy, client relationships, and revenue growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Define Fitch Solutions’ growth and sales strategy across all brands within Greater China, delivering across all revenue, sales and growth targets and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with global sales leadership to “make the matrix work” in the subregion.
  • Work with market development on defining a clear product growth strategy reflective of the market potential of the region.
  • Partner with the global sales leaders on delivering this growth and exceed targets.
  • Collaborate with APAC-based Sales Specialists to execute on Cross-Sell opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across various sectors to understand their business needs and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the Commercial Executive team, offering insights into sales activities and market trends.
  • Institute structure and guidance to the team as it relates to best sales practices including adoption of CRM tools to optimize sales efficiency and data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with the CSM and Marketing teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and market positioning.
  • Build a high-performance team in Greater China, focused on outperforming targets, elevating strong performers and performance-management of non-performers.
  • Develop the subregion into a talent magnet that attracts the best sales & commercial professionals to Fitch Solutions.
  • Advocate for region-specific offerings or packages that would drive scalable growth opportunities specific to this geography.
  • Hands-on engagement, with our largest customers and opportunities across Greater China.
  • Represent the firm in the assigned industry by being the face of Fitch Solutions to the wider market at conferences, and industry events.

Requirements

  • 10 to 15 years of experience which includes significant exposure to regulators, Board-level and C-suite level customers, across the region.
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding sales targets, particularly in the credit ratings, research, and Business Intelligence space.
  • Proven success in driving growth initiatives and growing revenue streams.
  • Extensive experience in sales across key global markets, implementing disciplined robust sales process, managing a sales cadence.
  • A strong track record of sales leadership, consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving growth within existing accounts.
