Responsibilities
Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, employee relations and escalate to People Operations Manager when necessary.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Act as the bridge between Recruiting and Human Resources; walking new hires through onboarding.
Oversee the Hire and Termination lifecycle in ADP Workforce Now and other systems.
Full-cycle management of Leave of Absence and ADA accommodation requests for the office, track and communicate these to the greater team.
Respond to inquiries from the Department of Labor regarding unemployment information.
Run and analyze reports.
Assist with employee engagement initiatives, participating in the planning and execution of events.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and necessary posters for the office.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
At least 3 years of human resource management experience preferred.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint).
Professional level writing and verbal communication skills.
Well-developed interpersonal skills and professional demeanor, with an ability to interact with employees and others at any level within an organization.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communicator, including solid telephone and writing skills.
Excellent listening and follow-through skills.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR Certified is a plus.
