Tax and Statutory Account Manager for Ferryhopper managing financial systems and tax compliance in Greece. Overseeing SAP onboarding, MyData integration, and monthly accounting procedures while ensuring VAT compliance.
Responsibilities
Be part of the project to fully onboard SAP as the company's finance system
Oversee the integration with MyData
Oversee the integration of electronic invoicing
Oversee monthly MyData reporting and alignment
Oversee the accuracy and completeness of the monthly accounting entries in SAP
Collaborate closely with the financial controller to implement and then oversee monthly close the books procedures
Establish monthly VAT calculation and reporting process, then oversee VAT compliance
Ensure timely and accurate compliance with other taxes (advertising tax, etc.)
Cooperate closely with external accountants on tax and accounting matters
Coordinate with external auditors
Assist the CFO with reporting as needed
Assist the CFO with other compliance activities as needed
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional qualification, such as ACCA, would be an advantage
3-5 years of experience in a tax and accounting-focused role in Greece
Solid understanding of Greek tax regulations and procedures (local GAAP, tax legislation)
Proficient in Excel
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience with SAP Business One is an advantage
