About the role

  • Territory Manager responsible for managing agency partnerships and driving profitable premium growth. Role involves building trusted advisor relationships and executing agency management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Owns and manages assigned territory driving profitable growth to achieve financial and operational targets
  • Assists in leading, developing, and executing territory tactical plan and agency management processes
  • Builds and cultivates mutually beneficial agency partnerships in person with agency ownership, management, and frontline staff using a consultative sales framework
  • Establishes position as a trusted advisor while delivering product, underwriting philosophy, appetite, and system training
  • Creates, maintains, and executes high quality agency strategies and plans
  • Coordinates plans with field distribution partners
  • Drives and ensures quality of new business flow
  • Provides appetite and target market clarity

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • CIC, CPCU, or insurance licenses preferred upon hire
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Personal Auto and Commercial Auto experience highly preferred
  • Experience achieving profitable premium growth and sales success
  • Specialty Auto experience
