About the role

  • Sales & Solution Consultant responsible for Cim200, engaging with Sage 200 users and managing customer relationships. Focused on business sales, pre-sales consultancy, and ongoing account management.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all Sage200 & Cim200 sales enquiries
  • Qualify inbound leads and manage the full pre-sales lifecycle
  • Run discovery sessions to understand customer manufacturing and commercial processes
  • Translate requirements into clear solution proposals
  • Own and deliver tailored product demonstrations
  • Support proposals, pricing discussions, and closing activities
  • Deliver high-quality, scenario-based Sage200/Cim200 demonstrations
  • Configure demo environments to reflect customer workflows
  • Clearly communicate value, ROI, and operational improvements
  • Handle functional and technical questions with credibility
  • Identify implementation considerations early to ensure accurate scoping
  • Work closely with the Sage 200 partner network to support:
  • Joint sales opportunities
  • Pre-sales consultancy
  • Demonstrations and workshops
  • Partner Account management
  • Act as the Cim200 solution expert for partners
  • Help partners position Cim200 effectively with their customers
  • Provide guidance on suitability, scope, and best-fit scenarios
  • Manage and nurture the existing Cim200 / Sage 200 customer base
  • Build trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Identify:
  • Upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Additional module or consultancy requirements
  • Act as a commercial escalation point (working alongside support and delivery teams)
  • Support customer retention and long-term success
  • Feed customer and partner insights back into:
  • Product development
  • Roadmap planning
  • Sales messaging and positioning
  • Help refine demo scripts, collateral, and partner materials
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and competitive solutions

Requirements

  • Experience selling or consulting on manufacturing ERP / MRP solutions
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes:
  • BOMs, routings, works orders
  • Stock control and traceability
  • Production planning and scheduling
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end sales cycles
  • Confident running discovery sessions and product demonstrations
  • Comfortable working with partners as well as end customers
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Experience working with Sage 200 and its partner ecosystem (Desirable)
  • Experience of Cim200 or Sicon Manfacturing (Desirable)
  • Background in manufacturing operations or implementation consulting (Desirable)
  • Account management or customer success experience (Desirable)
  • Exposure to pricing, proposals, and commercial negotiations (Desirable)
