Compensation Partner assisting in the administration of compensation programs at Empower. Collaborating with HR to conduct job evaluations and determine market competitive pricing.
Responsibilities
Assists with the administration of the company-wide compensation function
Creating, implementing and administering market competitive fixed and variable pay programs that comply with applicable laws and regulations
Provide guidance to HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and managers to develop compensation solutions and comprehensive pay decisions
Partners with other HR groups, leaders or managers to provide support on major project initiatives
Participates in compensation and salary budget surveys
Prepares salary data for submission
Maintains understanding of applicable laws and regulations including FLSA, Equal Pay Act, minimum wage, etc.
Perform analysis on ad hoc requests and projects
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent HR and compensation experience
3-4 years Compensation experience, preferably in a global environment
Experience with variable pay plans, budget and structure activities, and job evaluation (market pricing methodology) preferred
Proven analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Extremely detailed and accurate, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture
Strong communication skills and the ability to easily and clearly convey data analysis into an understandable format
Sound judgment and a high level of integrity with the ability to address sensitive and confidential information, and make good decisions under pressure
Team collaboration skills are a must
Must be comfortable with general analytics and reporting methodologies
Ability to sort and sift data and make logical conclusions
Understanding of DOL/FLSA guidelines and its application.
Proven accuracy with data entry
Systems knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc) is required
Intermediate-to-Advanced Excel skill is a plus
Workday knowledge highly preferred and Workday Advanced Compensation desired
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is a plus
