About the role

  • Regional Revenue Operations Leader at Emerson leading revenue strategy and sales operations for the Africa region. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance revenue productivity and sales effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee regional revenue operations strategies that align with Emerson’s business goals and support sustainable growth.
  • Lead forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue performance tracking to ensure accuracy, consistency, and visibility across the region.
  • Optimize sales processes and commercial workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce complexity, and support high‑performing teams.
  • Provide analytical insights and reporting that inform commercial decisions, customer planning, marketing and regional strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations—to enhance revenue productivity and commercial performance.
  • Implement systems, tools, and technologies that improve data quality, operational efficiency, and customer experience outcomes in alignment with local and global directions.
  • Partner with local sales leadership to develop territory plans and customer segmentation models that align resources with market opportunities and strategy growth priorities. Lead third party assessment and engagement programs in the region.
  • Support in the automation of the sales incentive program for the region and ensure the region is following the program’s milestones.
  • Partner with sales teams to identify skill gaps, participate in the design of targeted training programs and implement continuous learning initiatives that enhance selling effectiveness, customer engagement, and revenue performance.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading revenue operations, commercial operations, or related strategic functions in a regional or multi‑country capacity.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial performance metrics.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, finance, and operational teams.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment across multiple geographies.
