About the role

  • Digital Sales Executive focusing on online sales for Emerson’s measurement solutions portfolio in Brazil. Engaging clients, generating leads, and ensuring an integrated buying experience.

Responsibilities

  • Territory management: Use digital tools to remotely engage existing and potential customers within the territory, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Prospecting & new customer acquisition: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through digital channels, expanding our customer base within target industry segments.
  • Implementation of sales campaigns: Work closely with commercial teams to implement sales campaigns targeted at specific industries and customer segments. Present new products and solutions to existing clients.
  • Product knowledge: Develop deep knowledge of products and solutions for each sales campaign, and be able to persuasively and effectively communicate the value proposition to customers.
  • "Hunter" mindset: Demonstrate persistence and determination to overcome obstacles and close sales—do not take "no" for an answer.
  • Relationship building: Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up and excellent customer service.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate support from technical specialists, product/solution experts, and other company stakeholders to create a compelling, differentiated value proposition for selected customers.
  • Pricing: Ensure achievement of optimal pricing by leveraging the portfolio to create value for the customer. Close deals with a sense of urgency while securing the best possible price.
  • Proficiency with digital tools: Use CRM systems, sales automation tools (e.g., Salesloft), and digital marketing platforms (e.g., IIR, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn) to identify opportunities, enhance sales efforts, maximize ROI, and monitor performance.
  • Reporting & analysis: Provide regular reports on sales activities, campaign effectiveness, and market feedback to the sales manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Instrumentation, or Mechanical)
  • Certifications or courses in digital sales or B2B digital marketing are a plus
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in inside sales, remote technical support, or pre-sales
  • Experience with digital sales platforms and marketing automation
  • Fluent Portuguese and advanced English (for reading manuals, trainings, and communication with headquarters)
  • CRM systems (Salesforce / Salesloft)
  • Marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo)
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and digital solutions (IIoT, WirelessHART, analytics)
  • Strong virtual presentation skills (Teams, Zoom)
