About the role

  • Sales Engineer managing customer relations and securing sales volume on aftermarket products and services. Requires technical knowledge in turbomachinery and up to 50% travel across specified US states.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and / or strengthen customer contacts to secure budgeted sales volume on aftermarket related products and services
  • Act as principal customer interface
  • Acquire skills and experience in various repair procedures
  • Identify potential markets currently not being penetrated, for future sales growth
  • Travel up to 50%

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience in turbomachinery, compressors & or turbines
  • A thorough technical knowledge of mechanical equipment design, operation, application, and maintenance
  • The ability to translate technical knowledge and skills into saleable ideas and proposals
