About the role

  • Graduate Sales Engineer role focusing on technical sales and customer support for NI's products. Involves learning NI tools, supporting customers, and developing measurement expertise in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

  • Spend your first 6 months in rapid learning, gaining expertise with NI tools and our sales process while supporting NI customers and their technical challenges
  • After 6 months, partner with an Account Manager to support customer sales requests, provide demos, training, and configurations
  • Balance your time between inbound sales demand, marketing generated leads, presentations, demos, and prospecting activities
  • Develop test and measurement expertise
  • Qualify demand and escalate opportunities to Account Managers
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to others
  • Work cooperatively with sales, marketing, technical support, operations, and business units
  • Travel to customer sites for training and product presentations
  • Create a business plan for your territory

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering
  • Strong desire to pursue a long-term career in technical sales, marketing, or applications engineering
  • Solid understanding of electronics, computers, and high-level programming languages (C, Python, LabVIEW, etc)
  • Available for moderate travel
  • English language competency and effective communication skills
