About the role

  • Account Manager responsible for developing and managing client relationships in the digital marketing sector. Overseeing project delivery and collaborating with internal teams for successful client solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate regularly with clients, as the day-to-day point of contact for all client account management matters for assigned accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting client relationships through proactive communication and trusted partnership.
  • Monitor and communicate daily, monthly, and quarterly changes in project scope throughout the lifecycle of client work, ensuring alignment across internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Track, forecast, and prepare regular reports on account status, project performance, key deliverables, budgets, and account metrics, communicating updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of marketing solutions according to client needs and objectives.
  • Lead small to mid-level digital projects such as emails, digital ads, social media campaigns, and simple websites.
  • Assist senior account team on mid-level to large scale projects, including integrated digital campaigns, websites, digital advertising, and print materials.
  • Support campaign-related communications, including responding to customer, consumer, or stakeholder inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure key campaign processes, such as fulfillment, verification, and post-campaign follow-up, are executed smoothly, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Assist in coordinating cross-functional workflows by setting up and monitoring tasks for creative, development, and analytics teams in support of integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Help create and deliver marketing strategy documentation and support the development of proposals and RFP responses for existing and prospective clients.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in Digital Marketing and/or Marketing, as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager or relevant role.
  • Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in a Customer Service position.
  • Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Social Media, CRM, Branding, Content Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Customer Service, Strategic Planning. Pharma/Healthcare experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience working in an Agency setting.
  • Prior experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  • Must have strong time management, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to foresee risks and generate mitigation plans with the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Must have strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Clickup, Harvest and Slack.
  • Proven focus on attention to detail.
  • Develop an understanding of industry-specific client requirements, including compliance, regulatory standards, and internal approval processes that may apply to certain accounts or campaign types.
  • Manage content submission and review workflows, coordinating materials through client review systems and any external regulatory or governing bodies when required.
  • Demonstrate openness to learning and working with emerging technologies, including AI tools and AI agents, to support workflow efficiency, campaign execution, and client service; prior experience with AI is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in supporting a variety of client accounts, including promotional, engagement-based, and regulated marketing programs, as needed.
