About the role

  • HR Generalist supporting APAC team at Ekimetrics, a data science firm. Managing recruitment lifecycle and enhancing employee experience in HR practices.

Responsibilities

  • You will be part of the Human Resources team and report to the Head of People, APAC, who is based in the Hong Kong office, supporting the APAC team, including the Hong Kong and Shanghai Office.
  • Your mission is to help create a positive company experience for all Eki employees, to retain and engage teammates. A key strategy for achieving this is HR's close relationship with employees, as well as providing support and coaching to the management team.
  • Manage and own the full cycle recruiting process, driving hiring strategy, leading innovative searches from outreach, managing applications, interviewing candidates, extending offers & ensuring conversion, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate closely with management and cross-functional teams to ensure the recruitment pipeline meets the required skills and talent needs of the team, as well as track and manage roles based on business requirements.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through ongoing relationship management.
  • Promote the employer brand and manage school relations.
  • Support the complete employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding orientation, probation follow-up, talent reviews, and learning and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the Head of HR on various HR domains, such as improving employee experience, enhancing Ekimetrics culture, DE&I, etc.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of local HR policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Ensure an excellent employee experience at every touch point, and answer daily HR questions and requests.
  • Assist with ad hoc global and regional projects as needed.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist is required, with a strong background across various topics such as talent acquisition, talent review, learning and development, and employee relations.
  • Possess solid HR experience within the Hong Kong market, along with some basic knowledge of HR practices in mainland China.
  • Proven experience in implementing creative approaches to talent acquisition, including a strong familiarity with the latest resources and techniques, particularly in using LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Data-driven, always seeking to analyze past efforts to enhance future work.
  • Acts as an ambassador for our company values to external applicants.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility in taking on various roles.
