About the role

  • Sr. Manager HR Business Partner at Capital One enabling strategic HR partnership for Global Payment Networks. Consulting and workforce planning to build inclusive and diverse teams in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients, other HRBPs, and HR partner groups to effectively execute on people strategy, HR processes, and reporting
  • Partner with clients to build effective relationships, effectively manage stakeholders, and understand business imperatives
  • Consult with associates, managers, and HR partners who require assistance on HR-related issues
  • Coach people managers on situations including general leadership skills, org design, performance concerns
  • Provide strategic consulting and workforce planning to client groups within client group and delivering an HR strategy aligned with the business needs
  • Support the planning and delivery of core HR processes ranging from performance & talent management, leadership development, to change management and organizational design
  • Support senior leaders on key areas such as building an inclusive and diverse team, creating a culture of belonging

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 5 years of client facing experience OR at least 5 years of consulting experience OR a combination
  • At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience (Preferred)
  • Professional Human Resources Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources certification or coaching certification (Preferred)
  • 7+ years of client facing experience or 7+ years of consulting experience or a combination (Preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in Human Resources (Preferred)
  • HR experience within a global organization (Preferred)
