Responsibilities
- Diagnose and fix issues affecting VistA products for our Veterans Affairs (VA) client
- Build and repair health and clinical applications for the VA
- Analyze user needs and the environment to make sure the solution considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements
- Work in an Agile environment to develop software solutions
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with MUMPS software development
- Experience with MUMPS software development and working in VistA environments using FileMan
- Knowledge of HL7 messaging development
- Knowledge of software development
- Knowledge of design or architectural patterns
- Knowledge of architecture styles and APIs
- Ability to understand front-end users' requirements
- Ability to communicate with front-end users to replicate their issues
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Associate’s degree in a CS field
