About the role
- Engineering Specifications Consultant providing technical expertise to MEP firms and design/build contractors. Building relationships with stakeholders and driving product demand and inclusion in specifications.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical expertise to MEP firms, Design/Build contractors and other specifiers
- Builds and maintains long-term relationships with MEP engineers, architects, general contractors, EPCs, builders, and manufacturing accounts
- Delivers professional presentations to key stakeholders
- Collaborates closely with external customers and partners as well as internal sales and product engineering teams
- Drives demand for company products by initiating new customer engagements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil engineering (or related field)
- 3-5 industry experience required
- Current and valid Driver License required
- Detailed knowledge of codes and standards
- Understanding of specifications and how they are developed and utilized within assigned industries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Experienced in the use of CRM tools and their application in sales environments
