About the role

  • Generating leads and qualifying prospects for Edify's educational solutions while maintaining strong client relationships and managing CRM updates.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and lead generation: Research and identify potential customers who fit the company’s ideal profile.
  • Lead qualification: Evaluate each lead’s potential by checking qualification criteria and interest in the offered solution.
  • Initial contact with prospects: Reach out to leads, typically by email or phone, to start the relationship and understand their needs.
  • Meeting scheduling: Arrange meetings or demos between qualified leads and sales representatives when needed.
  • CRM updates: Keep the CRM updated with information about prospects and recorded interactions.
  • Relationship building: Establish rapport with prospects, showing genuine interest and helping to identify their needs and challenges.
  • Handover to the sales team: Forward qualified leads to the sales team, ensuring they are properly prepared for the closing process.
  • Participate in pre-sales team rituals: daily stand-ups, alignment meetings and training sessions.
  • Study Edify’s solution portfolio, staying up to date on the educational market and its trends.
  • Contribute best practices, ideas and learnings to strengthen the team’s collaborative culture.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt language to the audience.
  • Active listening skills to deeply understand schools’ challenges and context.
  • Organization and discipline to manage a high volume of contacts, follow-ups and CRM updates.
  • Proactivity and an investigative mindset, always seeking to learn more about leads and propose personalized approaches.
  • Resilience and persistence, handling objections, rejections and continuous learning.
  • Results- and target-oriented focus without sacrificing empathy and the quality of relationships with prospects.
  • Comfortable using technology tools such as CRM (Pipedrive), spreadsheets and automation tools.
  • Team player, contributing to a positive team environment and collective growth.
