Responsibilities
Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the Business Development department
Take responsibility for the process and execution of projections, medium-term planning, the annual financial close and internal and external reporting
Ensure optimal management of commercial and infrastructure service providers
Design and monitor tools and parameters for performing profitability/economic viability calculations
Take responsibility for post-calculation (post‑project costing) of implemented sales and internal projects
Report to internal and external stakeholders, in particular E.ON Energy Infrastructure Solutions and Avacon AG
Coordinate Avacon Natur’s corporate strategy in alignment with E.ON Energy Infrastructure Solutions and Avacon AG
Participate in higher-level committees and project teams and assume time‑limited special assignments
Requirements
Degree (Diploma/Master’s) in Economics, Business Administration or Economics (Volkswirtschaftslehre) with a focus on Controlling, Finance and/or Accounting
Several years of professional experience in the energy sector
In‑depth understanding of business and economic interrelations, especially in the heating segment and in corporate operations
Proficient in financial reporting under HGB and IFRS with several years of experience in accounting
Knowledge of regulation in the heating sector, in particular experience with the AVBFernwärmeV
Experience selecting and identifying appropriate KPIs for corporate management
Proficient with standard software applications (e.g. CCH Tagetik, SAP CO and FI, and MS Office, especially Excel)
Excellent German language skills, written and spoken (minimum C1)
