About the role

  • Business Development Representative at Cloudflare responsible for sourcing new opportunities in the Enterprise segment. Conducting outreach and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive sales.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research prospective Cloudflare accounts in the Enterprise segment
  • Conduct outreach to appropriate contacts within each account
  • Source meetings and run discovery calls using sales qualification frameworks
  • Work with Strategic/Enterprise Account Executives to close sourced opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product marketing, field marketing, and sales enablement
  • Own and meet target quota related to number of qualified opportunities and sales pipeline value

Requirements

  • 2+ year of experience in BDR or in a similar capacity in technology industry is preferred
  • Track record of successful business development in Enterprise segment territory in tech sales environment
  • Aptitude to learn technical concepts/terms
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated; entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset with empathy and curiosity
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Experience in Salesloft is a plus
