Business Development Manager responsible for expanding Barco’s medical imaging solutions in southern India. Focused on corporate hospitals, government colleges, and diagnostic centers.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within corporate hospital chains, government medical colleges, and private diagnostic centers in southern regions.
Maintain and grow relationships with key stakeholders, including Radiologists, Surgeons, IT Heads (PACS/RIS), and Hospital CEOs/CFOs.
Collaborate with and manage a network of local channel partners and distributors to ensure consistent lead generation and project execution.
Conduct high-impact product demonstrations of Barco’s healthcare portfolio (e.g., Coronis, Nio) highlighting ROI, clinical accuracy, and ergonomic benefits.
Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from identifying government/private tenders to technical bid submission and final negotiation.
Monitor competitor activity and healthcare trends (such as AI integration and remote reading) to provide feedback to the regional leadership team.
Requirements
5–8 years of proven track record in Healthcare Sales/Business Development , specifically within Medical Imaging , PACS, or high-end Medical Devices.
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or Business Administration. An MBA is a plus.
Deep understanding of medical imaging workflows (DICOM standards, Radiology/Surgical visualization, and Hospital Information Systems).
An established network of contacts among the healthcare fraternity and hospital administration in South India
Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in English and other regional language is highly preferred to engage effectively with local stakeholders.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 50%).
