About the role

  • Account Manager for Austria, Switzerland, and Slovenia promoting food diagnostics. Supporting business growth in diagnostics and providing training to food industry clients and distributors.

Responsibilities

  • Promotion of diagnostic tests and laboratory consumables for the detection of allergens, mycotoxins, GMOs, hygiene indicators and pathogens
  • Support and training for customers in the food industry, the grain and flour sector, feed companies, laboratories and distributors
  • Acquisition of new customers and expansion of distributor networks
  • Representation of the company at conferences, trade shows and webinars
  • Preparation of quotations, participation in tenders and management of activities in CRM systems
  • Collaboration with marketing, product management and logistics teams

Requirements

  • Background in life sciences such as chemistry, food technology, biotechnology, biology or agricultural sciences
  • Several years of B2B sales experience, preferably in diagnostics, food or agriculture
  • Strong commercial orientation — motivated to identify opportunities, develop markets and successfully close sales
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset — comfortable working independently and taking a hands-on approach
  • Willingness to travel within the region (up to 50%) and a valid category B driving license
  • Excellent communication skills with fluent written and spoken English
