About the role
- Accounting Release Manager at CORTO coordinating end-to-end release processes within accounting products and features. Ensure smooth releases while managing risks and communication across teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and coordinate the end‑to‑end release process across our accounting products and features.
- Act as the central point of release coordination, ensuring teams are aligned and risks are managed.
- Coordinate release schedules, ensuring alignment across teams and dependencies.
- Manage release timelines so features are delivered and deployed as planned.
- Oversee go‑live activities, feature flagging and release controls (e.g., LaunchDarkly).
- Act as the central point of contact for all release‑related communication.
- Work with internal stakeholders across regions to ensure readiness for upcoming releases.
- Align release dates with product demos, enablement and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure clear communication of release scope, timelines and impacts.
- Ensure high‑quality release notes, fix lists and detailed change logs are created and published.
- Monitor post‑release queues, incidents and escalations, partnering with QE and Engineering to drive resolution.
- Run post‑release reviews to identify learnings and continuously improve the release process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in release management, product operations or a similar delivery‑focused role.
- Strong understanding of modern software development lifecycles.
- Experience working closely with cross‑functional teams including Product, Engineering and QE.
- Confidence managing multiple releases, timelines and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bring clarity to complex releases.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with feature‑flagging or release control tools (e.g. LaunchDarkly).
- Exposure to SaaS or product‑led technology environments.
- Experience supporting accounting, finance or highly regulated products.
