About the role

  • Account Manager developing and maintaining strategic relationships with enterprise customers in the IT sector. Managing sales lifecycle and delivering innovative IT solutions from DIGIT4U.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for business development of assigned enterprise existing customers
  • Identification and realization of cross- and upselling opportunities
  • Creation and implementation of strategic customer development plans
  • Management of the entire sales lifecycle: inquiry-offer-contracting-closing
  • Close collaboration with Delivery, HR and project staff
  • Stakeholder management at business and decision-maker level
  • Escalation management and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Alignment of technical requirements with internal specialist departments
  • Responsibility for onboarding new project staff

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in business administration or a technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant sales experience in the enterprise IT environment
  • Demonstrable success in farming and expanding complex customer relationships
  • Strong customer and solution orientation with strategic foresight
  • Experience selling IT services and projects
  • Basic technical understanding and knowledge of common project methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Prince2, etc.)
  • Structured, independent way of working and strong communication skills
  • Business fluent German and English, both written and spoken
