About the role

  • HR Assistant role at aerospace company providing HR support for employee-related processes. Engaging with employees, managing records, and advising on policies in a hybrid workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact for all employees for HR related questions providing guidance on questions regarding contracts, policies, benefits, payroll, time off and daily people matters.
  • Manage offboarding processes including documentation, exit coordination, handovers and system updates.
  • Actively advise employees and managers on HR policies, internal procedures, benefits and employment conditions.
  • Prepare and manage employment amendments, extensions, promotions and role changes in close collaboration with managers and HR leadership.
  • Maintain accurate up to date and compliant employee records ensuring data integrity confidentiality and consistency across HR systems.
  • You support and advise on all activities and process steps related to the absenteeism process, managing absence cases from the first day of sickness. You actively steer the process, take a proactive role in complex cases, and determine the (follow-up) steps.
  • Support payroll preparation by collecting, validating and processing monthly employee data such as absences, changes, bonuses and contract updates.
  • Support employee engagement actions internal initiatives and HR projects that strengthen company culture.
  • Partner closely with the HR team and leadership to support HR projects and organizational changes.

Requirements

  • 2 + years of experience in an HR Assistant or HR Generalist role.
  • You have an HBO level of working and thinking, preferably in the field of HRM or Business Administration.
  • Solid knowledge of HR operations including contracts, employee relations, payroll coordination, benefits and HR administration
  • Confidence handling sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with HRIS and digital HR tools with a strong focus on data accuracy and process consistency.
  • Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in English.
