About the role

  • Consultor Comercial responsible for selling SaaS solutions to public sector clients. Driving client relationships and contributing to the commercial area's structure and maturity.

Responsibilities

  • Act strategically in the commercialization of the Desenvolve Cidade platform’s SaaS packages
  • Lead commercial negotiations for SaaS service packages
  • Ensure scope, deadlines, SLAs and contractual obligations are understood
  • Serve as the client's primary commercial contact until contract completion
  • Attend technical meetings and institutional presentations
  • Prospect, qualify and develop leads
  • Structure and manage the CRM and commercial pipeline
  • Prepare, present and negotiate commercial proposals
  • Represent Desenvolve (GovTech) in meetings and institutional events
  • Maintain continuous interaction with the implementation team
  • Support the client in the strategic interpretation of initial results
  • Negotiate commercial terms within the limits set by management
  • Conduct client onboarding and ensure the solution is presented correctly
  • Perform a structured handoff to technical and operational teams
  • Maintain active involvement in post-sales activities and contribute to contract renewals

Requirements

  • Mastery of consultative and complex sales techniques (B2G)
  • Proven experience selling to the public sector (municipalities, government agencies)
  • Practical knowledge of the legal and administrative procedures for public procurement
  • Familiarity with public notices, procurement portals and bidding platforms
  • Ability to prepare proposals tailored to the public sector, including feasibility analysis
  • High emotional intelligence and diplomacy to operate in political environments
  • Strategic vision and the ability to build processes from scratch
  • Ability to build trust, adapting your approach to different stakeholder profiles
  • Ability to lead by example and positively influence the team
  • Ability to act with political neutrality in a professional context
  • Autonomy with a sense of ownership
