About the role

  • Sales Lead managing a team and collaborating with premium restaurants to drive business development. Leading negotiations and generating new opportunities in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate and mentor a team of Business Development Managers
  • Work directly with the Regional Manager to facilitate business meetings with groups of restaurants considered high profile.
  • Generate new business opportunities through meetings with restaurant groups.
  • Conduct business negotiations for the acquisition of new customers.

Requirements

  • You must be comfortable with targeting new business and have sales experience
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial roles
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team
  • The job requires experience speaking with partners, whether it be face-to-face, through phone or email
  • Experience in demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients
  • You will need to be comfortable with negotiations
  • Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus
  • You will need to be tenacious
