About the role

  • IT Sales Engineer responsible for developing a client portfolio and presenting IT integration solutions. Driving client relationships and managing incoming leads in B2B settings.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and qualify inbound leads generated by marketing.
  • Identify and target new potential prospects across various industry sectors.
  • Build and develop relationships with a network of referral partners.
  • Establish strong relationships with decision-makers and IT managers within target companies.
  • Take over management of an existing client portfolio.
  • Understand the needs and challenges of potential clients.
  • Analyze requests for IT infrastructure projects.
  • Present the company's managed services and integration offerings.
  • Lead, contribute to, and coordinate responses to certain tenders/RFPs.
  • Negotiate and sign new contracts.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to develop tailored proposals and meet specific client needs.
  • Maintain regular follow-up with your client and prospect portfolio to sustain engagement and identify new opportunities.
  • Provide regular reporting to the manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience required in selling IT services in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent prospecting and business development skills, with a proven ability to close deals.
  • Strong technical-sales knowledge of information technologies, particularly IT infrastructure (telecoms, networks, systems, telephony, cybersecurity).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to address company executives.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Results-oriented, with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Higher education degree in computer science, business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Interest in technology and a strong aptitude for rapid learning.
