About the role

  • Salesforce Technical Consultant specialised in delivering technical services for clients throughout New Zealand. Engaging with clients, collaborating with teams, and supporting full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and develop Salesforce solutions using programmatic methods (Apex, Lightning Web Components)
  • Translate client requirements into technical designs, data models, and integration architectures
  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Support the full project lifecycle from discovery workshops to testing and deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including consultants, architects, and client stakeholders
  • Contribute to internal community of practice, sharing knowledge and helping others grow
  • Engage directly with clients, running workshops and providing trusted advisory.

Requirements

  • Over 2 years’ hands on development experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Proficiency in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Flows
  • Experience with Salesforce data management, migration, and integration patterns
  • Understanding of DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD, Salesforce DX)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • A keen sense for learning especially for new Salesforce products such as Agentforce
  • Familiarity with Salesforce platform APIs
  • Salesforce Certifications.
