About the role

  • HR & Finance Operations Associate responsible for administrative and financial operations at COTINGA. Collaborating closely with management to streamline HR and finance processes while ensuring reliable operations.

Responsibilities

  • You ensure that our core HR and finance administrative processes run reliably, on schedule, and in an organized manner
  • In close collaboration with the management team, you support both our employees and the central HR and finance processes
  • Support with expense and reimbursement processing
  • Review, sort, and file incoming invoices, receipts, and credit card statements
  • Prepare monthly accounting documents for our tax advisor
  • Maintain financial documentation and filing structure
  • Maintain employee data and documents in Personio
  • Prepare monthly payroll runs and liaise with the payroll office
  • Draft and adapt employment contracts, certificates, and other HR documents
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Manage leave and absence requests
  • Act as an interface between HR, finance, and our locations
  • Support the implementation of new tools and processes
  • Work closely with the executive management and the management team

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration (BWL) or a commercial vocational qualification, e.g., tax clerk, office administrator, HR clerk, or a similar qualification
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in administrative or accounting roles (e.g., accounting firm, SME, office management, or HR)
  • Very meticulous, structured, and reliable work style
  • Basic understanding of accounting and HR processes
  • Experience with Personio, DATEV, or similar systems is an advantage
  • High degree of independence, sense of responsibility, and dependability
  • Very good German language skills
