HR & Finance Operations Associate responsible for administrative and financial operations at COTINGA. Collaborating closely with management to streamline HR and finance processes while ensuring reliable operations.
Responsibilities
You ensure that our core HR and finance administrative processes run reliably, on schedule, and in an organized manner
In close collaboration with the management team, you support both our employees and the central HR and finance processes
Support with expense and reimbursement processing
Review, sort, and file incoming invoices, receipts, and credit card statements
Prepare monthly accounting documents for our tax advisor
Maintain financial documentation and filing structure
Maintain employee data and documents in Personio
Prepare monthly payroll runs and liaise with the payroll office
Draft and adapt employment contracts, certificates, and other HR documents
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
Manage leave and absence requests
Act as an interface between HR, finance, and our locations
Support the implementation of new tools and processes
Work closely with the executive management and the management team
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration (BWL) or a commercial vocational qualification, e.g., tax clerk, office administrator, HR clerk, or a similar qualification
2–4 years of professional experience in administrative or accounting roles (e.g., accounting firm, SME, office management, or HR)
Very meticulous, structured, and reliable work style
Basic understanding of accounting and HR processes
Experience with Personio, DATEV, or similar systems is an advantage
High degree of independence, sense of responsibility, and dependability
Very good German language skills
