About the role

  • HR & Finance Operations Associate managing personnel and finance operations at COTINGA. Collaborating closely with management for structured and efficient processes.

Responsibilities

  • As an HR & Finance Operations Associate, you form the organizational backbone of COTINGA.
  • You ensure that our core HR and financial administration processes run reliably, on time, and in a structured manner.
  • Working closely with the management team, you support both our employees and the central HR and finance processes.
  • Support with expense and reimbursement processing.
  • Review, sort, and file incoming invoices, receipts, and corporate card statements.
  • Prepare monthly accounting documents for our tax advisor.
  • Maintain employee data and documents in Personio.
  • Prepare monthly payroll runs and communicate with the payroll provider.
  • Draft and adjust employment contracts, certificates, and other HR documents.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Manage vacation and absence requests.
  • Assist with the implementation of new tools and processes.

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration (BWL) or a commercial vocational qualification, e.g., tax clerk, office administrator, HR clerk, or a similar qualification
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in administrative or accounting roles (e.g., law firm, SME, office management, or HR)
  • Very meticulous, structured, and reliable work style
  • Basic understanding of accounting and HR processes
  • Experience with Personio, DATEV, or similar systems is a plus
  • High degree of autonomy, sense of responsibility, and reliability
  • Very good German language skills
