About the role

  • Sales Account Manager at Air Products selling bulk gases to various markets. Responsible for exceeding sales targets and managing customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Securing new business — exceed sales targets by selling our portfolio of products
  • Retaining existing business — manage customer relationships to ensure account retention
  • Improving portfolio profitability — increase revenue through volume growth and price management
  • Always representing Air Products in a courteous, professional, and respectful manner
  • Flexibility to travel up to 60%

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • A 4-year college degree in business or engineering is preferred but not required, or equivalent experience with a strong technical aptitude
  • 3–4 years of successfully demonstrated sales experience is required
  • Industrial gas experience is preferred but not required
  • A positive attitude and a passion to be the best in the industry
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work and prioritize independently
  • A desire to be part of a collaborative team environment
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle
