IIoT Sales Manager responsible for expanding customer base and selling innovative industrial communication technologies in DACH region. Engaging with key accounts and driving product positioning in the market.
Responsibilities
Systematic acquisition and growth of new customers in OEM, mechanical engineering, intralogistics and system integration
Development of existing key accounts and expansion across multiple organizational levels
Sales of software solutions (e.g., the world’s first MAC layer for DECT NR+), as well as hardware and complete/end-to-end solutions
Positioning innovative technologies with decision-makers and technical stakeholders
Managing tenders, contract negotiations and deal closures
Establishing and managing distributor and partner networks
Representing the company at trade shows, conferences and customer events
Maintaining a clean sales pipeline, forecasting and KPI tracking
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in industrial, automation or IIoT environments with a proven track record
Demonstrable experience in acquiring new customers and closing complex deals
Established network across the DACH region (OEMs, mechanical engineering, system integrators, intralogistics)
Experienced in consultative selling: analyzing customer needs, developing use cases and building business cases
Confident negotiation skills at both C-level and technical levels
Willingness to travel 40–60% within the DACH region
Excellent German and fluent English, both written and spoken
Proficient with CRM systems (vendor-independent)
Nice-to-haves: technical background (automation, electrical engineering, computer science) or deep understanding of industrial communication (e.g., DECT NR+, OPC UA, MQTT)
Experience in enterprise sales (long sales cycles, international accounts)
Practical experience building distributor and partner networks
Trade show and event experience (demos, presentations, lead follow-up)
