About the role

  • Senior Manager, Member Strategy Development at Federated Co-operatives Limited. Leading member engagement strategies and working closely with business leaders in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, prioritization, and development of long‑range member‑impacting strategies grounded in strong analysis and organizational insight.
  • Build clear, evidence‑based business cases and initiative briefs to secure alignment, resources, and approvals from senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaborative, cross‑functional strategy design that engages FCL leaders, SMEs, and local Co‑op leaders to ensure shared ownership.
  • Transition strategies into execution by coordinating handoff, supporting early implementation, and defining performance measures.
  • Advise leaders as a senior strategy SME, strengthening enterprise-wide strategic thinking, analysis, member understanding and value orientation.

Requirements

  • Have 10+ years of relevant experience in a corporate or retail strategy function, including at least 8 years of leadership experience.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in business (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Experience in retail operations and service design is considered an asset.
  • Experience in the co-operative sector is considered an asset.
  • Possess strong financial acumen.
