About the role

  • Executive Assistant providing support to C-Suite executives at Commonwealth Fusion Systems. Responsible for administrative tasks in a fast-paced, high-growing work environment in the fusion energy industry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive administrative support to multiple C-Suite executives, including complex calendar management, travel coordination, expense reporting, and document preparation
  • Serve as a trusted partner and representative for executives, ensuring timely communication and follow-through on priorities
  • Manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality with the highest level of discretion
  • Coordinate and host on-site meetings and visits, including managing catering orders, greeting guests, and ensuring meeting spaces are properly set up and equipped
  • Partner closely with the broader EA team to ensure seamless communication, scheduling alignment, and support coverage across the executive suite
  • Anticipate logistical and operational needs, identify gaps, propose solutions, and execute without being asked twice
  • Support cross-functional coordination between executives and their teams, acting as a connector and communicator when needed
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and feedback while maintaining a positive, composed, and professional approach

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, with direct support to multiple executives at the C-suite or senior leadership level
  • Proven success in fast-paced, startup or high-growth environments, with the ability to stay organized and calm under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work consistently
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while also thriving as part of a team
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) - able to read a room, build trust quickly, and navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
  • A reputation for reliability, discretion, and sound judgment, someone leaders can depend on without hesitation
  • Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom and Teams
