Responsibilities
The HR Coordinator reports to the Director of Administration and serves as the main point of contact for recruiting, hiring and onboarding all new staff.
Leads the recruiting and hiring process with hiring managers.
Boosts critical job postings on various paid sites.
Ensures that proper Candidate Sources links are used for posting.
Proactive in searching for potential candidates on job boards.
Conducts all initial phone screen interviews and schedules all interviews.
Conducts all professional reference checks.
Welcomes and orients new staff on their first day.
Completes HR pre- and post-hire onboarding tasks in BambooHR.
Tracks Ceres property on employees’ Assets tab in BambooHR.
Runs the quarterly new hire orientation meeting.
Requirements
Background in HR or HR certificate, preferred.
Experience in recruiting, a plus.
Excellent typing speed, essential.
Knowledge of FLSA, EEOC, DOL and EDD regulations.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities while managing incoming requests and responding in a timely manner.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail while holding the big picture.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to communicate warmly and clearly.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Experience with HRIS payroll systems, BambooHR preferred.
