Responsibilities
Provides technical and administrative support to the lab/lab personnel in addition to secretarial duties (filing, taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements).
Manage and prioritize incoming calls, emails, and other communications, ensuring timely responses or routing to appropriate personnel.
Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, presentations, and memos, maintain computer-based paper files, answer and screen telephone calls, opening and distributing mail for those supported.
Answer routine inquiries and prepare standard correspondence.
Make travel arrangements, prepare briefings and presentations, coordinates meetings, drafts and distributes meeting agendas, schedules required logistics to support office staff, and perform Internet-based research.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two (2) years of direct work experience in an office environment OR at least an associate degree in a related field.
This position requires the submission of a DNA sample, which will be stored in the government-managed DNA Sample-Employee Database to ensure it is excluded from CODIS (Combined DNA Index System).
Secret Clearance is required.
Due to the nature of work performed at the client’s facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to pass a background check.
May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
