About the role

  • On-site Administrative Assistant at AKAM aiding General Manager and staff in Midtown Manhattan. In charge of document processing, coordinating maintenance, and managing confidential requests.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate all maintenance requests
  • Draft, revise, proofread and process documents
  • Handle requests and queries appropriately
  • Handle confidential matters appropriately and with discretion
  • Research and complete additional projects as needed

Requirements

  • Attention to detail, including strong follow-up skills, good judgment, the ability to think through all issues
  • Must be highly organized
  • 3 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • 1 year of customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to commute to Midtown Manhattan, or plan to relocate before starting work
