Senior HVAC Sales Engineer marketing and selling Carrier HVAC products to customers in the region. Achieving sales targets while building long-term relationships with clients and supporting project management.
Responsibilities
Achieve annual sales, gross margin and market share targets set by management
Lead and grow assigned territory and business through existing and new accounts
Identify potential customers and build solid long-term relationships
Routinely call on and support customers, including Mechanical Contractors, Consulting Engineering firms and Facility Owners/Developers
Follow-up and close work with customers
Execute take-offs and quotes
Promote Carrier’s line card of products, attend trade shows, and marketing events
Assist with project management duties once the equipment has shipped
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years Commercial HVAC sales or engineering experience
High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years of Commercial HVAC sales experience
Valid Driver’s License
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline (preferred)
Experience with Applied HVAC equipment
Knowledge of HVAC design and application tools
LEED AP accreditation a plus
Extraordinary interpersonal skills and customer focus
Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM
