About the role

  • Training specialist supporting Carilion Clinic's healthcare technology and electronic medical records. Hybrid role requiring onsite presence based on needs and training responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • This position allows a hybrid remote work option
  • Supports training for Carilion's electronic medical record, EPIC, and other technologies used in the organization
  • Able to train multiple days per week and assist with material preparations/scheduling/field support and other training tasks as needed
  • Develops and maintains working relationships with other departments and external customers/vendors
  • Promotes effective relationships and outcomes
  • Produces products and services that are tailored to the specific needs of the situation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of general HR related experience required
  • Must possess excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and interpersonal skills
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to work on multiple tasks/projects while meeting deadlines and being flexible in an environment of changing priorities
  • Writing sample and training demonstration required
